July launches world’s first trackable suitcase

Australian luggage innovator July has unveiled CaseSafe™, the world’s first fully-integrated trackable suitcase that ensures travellers will never lose their luggage again. 

Globally, an estimated 36 million bags are mishandled each year and 1.8 million vanish altogether, so Australian travel brand July has created a solution. CaseSafe™ is the world’s first trackable suitcase, a revolutionary blend of design, engineering and innovation. Developed in consultation with both Google and Apple, the range integrates a TSA-approved lock with built-in tracking technology, allowing travellers to locate their luggage directly from their phone.

Earlier this year, July collaborated with Qantas on a limited-edition run of trackable luggage that sold out within 48 hours, underscoring travellers’ hunger for greater peace of mind. Now, with CaseSafe™, the technology becomes a cornerstone of the brand’s cult collection, instantly recognisable for its vibrant colourways and design-led aesthetic.

The July CaseSafe™ system features a battery-operated lock compatible with Apple’s Find My and Google’s Find Hub networks.

Retailing from $395 to $495, CaseSafe™ is available in all of July’s signature shades and in three sizes: Carry On, Checked and Checked Plus. Each piece is crafted from German aerospace-grade polycarbonate and fitted with SilentMove 360° spinner double wheels, gliding effortlessly from gate to gate, across the tarmac, and even over cobblestones.
