For travellers who seek the finest that the world has to offer

The official list of the world’s most beautiful restaurants is here

Aesthetes and gourmands who crave an exceptional ambience alongside their gourmet dining experience should look to the Prix Versailles for travel (and design!) inspiration.

Established a decade ago and held annually at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, the Prix Versailles is a prestigious global architectural award program that celebrates excellence in the design of commercial and public-use spaces. Positioned at the crossroads of architecture, interior design, culture and sustainability, the award honours projects that embody innovation, creative expression and a sensitivity to local heritage. Its scope spans eight key categories, including Hotels, Restaurants, Emporiums, Shopping Centres, Airports, Campuses, Passenger Stations, and Sports Venues.

What sets the Prix Versailles apart is its commitment to the principles of intelligent sustainability. Projects are evaluated not solely on their aesthetic or structural merit, but also on their ecological responsibility, cultural resonance, and ability to foster meaningful social interaction. With twenty-four World Titles awarded by a distinguished international jury, the Prix Versailles reflects the values championed by the United Nations. This year, the awards have identified 16 of the world’s most beautiful restaurants.
